Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the website and services provided by Main Street Sites ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our site or hiring us, you agree to these terms.
1. What we provide
We design and build websites and provide related services for local businesses, which may include a 24/7 AI receptionist chat assistant, Google Business Profile optimization, automated review requests, missed-call text-back, hosting, and monthly reporting. The exact scope is what we agree to with you for your plan.
2. Free preview
We may build a free preview of your website before you pay. The preview is provided with no obligation on either side — you're free to walk away, and we may decline to proceed. Until you approve and pay, the preview remains our property.
3. Fees & billing
- Most plans include a one-time setup fee plus a recurring monthly fee, as quoted to you.
- Monthly fees are billed in advance on a month-to-month basis.
- Fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes.
- If a payment fails, we may pause services until it's resolved.
4. Cancellation & 30-day guarantee
There are no long-term contracts — you may cancel your monthly plan at any time, and it will end at the close of your current billing period. If you don't see more calls or leads within your first 30 days after launch, you may cancel the monthly fee for that period; setup fees cover work already delivered and are non-refundable.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information and timely feedback so we can do our work.
- Only provide content (text, images, logos) that you own or have the right to use.
- Use our services lawfully and not for anything harmful or deceptive.
6. Ownership
Once your applicable fees are paid, you own your website content, your domain, and your Google Business Profile. We retain ownership of our underlying tools, templates, and software, including the AI receptionist platform, which is licensed to you for use while your subscription is active.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use our services to publish illegal, infringing, or harmful content, or to interfere with the operation of our systems or the AI assistant.
8. Third-party services
Some features rely on third parties (for example domain registrars, hosting providers, Google, and email/AI providers). Their services are subject to their own terms, and we're not responsible for outages or changes outside our control.
9. Disclaimers
Our services are provided "as is." While we work hard to get you results, we can't guarantee specific outcomes such as search rankings, traffic, call volume, or revenue. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use of our services means you accept the updated terms.
